KAPPIL BEACH

While touring Kasargod district, no one ever likes to return without paying a visit to Kappil beach. This less crowded and unexplored beach remains a better option for the tourists who seek greater privacy while on a picnic with family. Another attraction of the beach is that it is close to Bekal Fort and Bekal beach, a great spot of attraction in the district. The fort lies just six km away. PAITHALMALA

Paithalmala a hill station in north Kerala is about 70 km from Payyanur and takes about an hour and half journey to get there. MADHUR TEMPLE

Madhur temple was originally Madhanentheswara (Shiva) Temple and as the lore goes, an old so called "low caste" lady "Madaru" discovered an "Udbhava Murthy" (a statue that was not made by a human) of shiva linga.
